LAist (formerly KPCC) is a member-supported public media network that operates across the region, reaching from Santa Barbara down to Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and out to the Coachella Valley. We also inform and interact with our communities through our web site, mobile app, social media channels and live events.

Our mission is to strengthen the civic and cultural bonds that unite Southern California's diverse communities by providing the highest quality news and information across multiple platforms. We are a public forum that engages audiences in an ongoing dialogue and exploration of issues, events, and cultures in the region and in the world. We seek to provide greater understanding and new perspectives to the people of these communities and their leaders.

Donate your car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat to LAist by simply completing the form below and we'll reach out to you to arrange the pick-up of your vehicle donation, at no cost to you. You may qualify for a tax deduction while supporting local public media!

Vehicle donation pick-up is always free to you and most vehicles can be picked up within 24-72 hours. You'll receive an initial car donation receipt upon pick-up and then our team will work to turn your car into cash to support community-centered journalism. Once your vehicle is sold, we will provide you proper tax forms in time to file. Our friendly Donor Support Representatives are here 7 days a week to assist throughout the process
